We are delighted to announce that we commenced works on site in December 2025 at Riverside Works, delivering a new 10,000 sq.ft. extension to the Rutland Building. The circa £0.9M construction package is being delivered in house by Litton Construction Ltd. Practical Completion is programmed to be in June 2026.
The extension is already fully let to existing occupiers, supporting their continued expansion at Riverside Works.
Carrs Billington, the national agricultural wholesaler, will be relocating from the Kingfisher Building, taking 7,570 sq ft within the new space. Bakewell Bakery, a longstanding occupier in the Rutland Building, will also be expanding, securing an additional 3,140 sq.ft. to support the growth of their business.
The existing Carrs Billington space is also reserved by an existing occupier.
Further lettings have also been agreed on the most recently completed phase of buildings H,I,N & P.
With these lettings complete, the availability of new space at Riverside Works is in short supply, limited to a unit in the Plante building at the entrance to the site and unit 1-2 in the Fearnehough Building, opposite the future hotel.
The Gel Building, our next phase of new build employment space is now being marketed ahead of a planned start in 2027 and also already has one unit reserved.
