Litton has successfully completed the latest phase of development at Riverside Works, Bakewell, delivering a further 10,000 sq. ft. of high-quality commercial accommodation.
The project completes the extension of the Rutland Building, following the initial phase completed in 2023. At that time, the building could only be constructed in part to facilitate the relocation of existing occupiers into new space on the site.
The remainder of buidling has now been constructed and handover to occupiers Bakewell Bakery and Carrs Billington where they have begun their fit out works. Bakewell Bakery has expanded into new premises to support its continued growth, while Carrs Billington has relocated to larger, purpose-built accommodation better suited to its operational requirements within the East Midlands.
The successful completion and immediate occupation of the development demonstrate the continued demand for modern, high-quality commercial space in the region and further strengthen Riverside Works' position as a well-established business location.
